At nineteen Joe began his career in television commercial production, working at an adverising agency called Alchemy. Starting out as a junior editor, over nine years Joe worked his way up through various roles working on TV commercials for Disney Channel, MTV, Mitsubishi Motors, Funtasic and many other high profile clients.

In 2007-2008 Joe directed, starred in and co-produced an independent documentary series in Costa Rica called ‘No Way San Jose’. The series was later acquired by the ABC and aired in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

In 2009 Joe turned his sights to other creative pursuits, co-founding a mobile app development company called DreamWalk Interactive where he launched a number of innovative apps including the extremely popular music app Jam.

Joe returned to film in 2013 with his first narrative short film, ‘Queen of the Bees’ which he wrote and directed. The epic sci-fi drama went on to achieve official selection at the New York City Independent Film Festival, Made in Melbourne Film Festival and the Costa Rican International Film Festival.

The following year, Joe wrote and directed a political satire called Jeff VS The Left which screened around Melbourne and is now available to watch online.

Joe recently designed an animated the opening title sequence for Channel 9’s ‘Restoration’ and did visual effects for sci-fi feature ‘Blue Word Order’ starring Billy Zane.

Currently Joe has a number of projects in development, including a crime/drama feature called ‘Sleep’ and a sci-fi thriller short called ‘Silent Man’.

Anna is a Melbourne-based emerging Production Designer and Art Department all-rounder, and works as a freelancer in film, television, music videos and commercial video content. Anna pursued her passion for film-making and production design through the Master of Production Design for Screen course at the Victorian College of the Arts, from which she graduated in 2015 with First Class Honours.

Anna entered the Master program with a background in independent film and documentary making, vintage theatre design and photo styling. Her documentary Series ‘No Way San Jose’(2009) which she Co-Produced, has aired several times on ABC2 and her experience producing and designing independent short film ‘Queen of the Bees‘ (2013) ignited her passion for production design for screen.

Throughout her Masters Anna honed her skills working as Set Dresser, Art Director and Production Designer on several VCA student films, and since graduating she has worked consistently in art department in the professional film and television industry, on productions including Berlin Syndrome (2016), ABC’s Upper Middle Bogan Season 3 (2016), Little Lunch (2014 & 2016), Wentworth Season 5 (2016), The Katering Show (2016) and HBO’s The Leftovers Season 3 (2017), as well as several independent web series and short films. Anna also freelances as an Art Director for TV/web commercials and music videos, and in Interior Design.

Anna is fascinated with World Building as part of Immersive Design for film, and her in-depth analysis of character and story, her careful consideration of colour, texture and shape, and her attention to detail, from the general to the minutiae, make her designs both evocative and immersive.
